Aluminium Scaffolding erected, dismantled or moved only by proper trained workers
Aluminium Mobile Scaffolding Tower :
Aluminium Scaffolding is temporary platform used to elevate and support workers and materials during the construction, repair, or cleaning of a structure or machine It consists of one or more platform of convenient/standard size, width and length. With various methods of support, depending on the form and use.
Aluminium mobile scaffolding is widely used during construction and renovation activities. In its simplest form, scaffolding is any temporary elevated or suspended work surface used to support workers and/or materials.
The footing of aluminium scaffolding must be sound and rigid, capable of supporting the weight. Scaffolding must not be placed on unstable objects, such as bricks or blocks.
Aluminium Scaffolds must be erected, dismantled, or moved only by properly trained workers under the supervision of a competent person. A competent person is one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions that are hazardous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.
Aluminium Scaffolding must be braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or a combination thereof. All brace connections must be secured.
Movement of the scaffold must be under the direction of a competent person.
Aluminium movable Scaffold should not be occupied while moving unless a competent person has determined it is safe to do so.
Rolling scaffold must not be used on sloped surfaces.
Each worker on an aluminium scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level must be protected from falling to that lower level by use of guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems.
Aluminium Scaffolds and components must be able to support at least four times the intended load.
Standard guardrails (e.g., handrail and mid rail) and toe boards must be provided for more than 20ft and above the surrounding surfaces.
To protect against falling objects toe board and mid rail etc is required to the movable aluminium scaffolding.
Aluminium Scaffolding with outer rigger and hand rail always bonding you with safety and life measures. It is used to work for Indoor and Outdoor activities also. If the work area is small, single width aluminium scaffolding are used and double width aluminium scaffolding for large work area. Sometimes it can be customised according to their own design for work nature.
Another fantastic advantage of using aluminium mobile scaffolding over more traditional scaffolding is that there is plenty of room to move. Workers can complete their jobs knowing that they can work freely on mobile scaffolding and aren’t confined to a small space. Not only does this provide a safer option for workers, but there is more space to keep tools and materials on the platform, allowing for a more efficient and effective working environment.
Any damaged or weakened component of a scaffold must be repaired or replaced immediately.
Providing a scaffold to the user that is free from recognizable and preventable hazards
Prior to occupation scaffold erectors must notify the competent person that the scaffold has been erected and is ready to be inspected.
Training will be given to other aluminium scaffold users if needed.
Aluminium Scaffold users must be trained by the recognised company / certified person. The hazards associated with working on a scaffold they may be include the hazards of the particular scaffold that they intend to use. The nature of any fall, falling object, or electrical hazards, the correct procedures for dealing with electrical hazards and for erecting, maintaining, and disassembling the fall protection systems and falling object protection systems being used; the proper use of the scaffold and the proper handling of materials on the scaffold, the maximum intended load – carrying capacities of the scaffolds used
ALUMINIUM SCAFFOLDING TAGS :-
For the Project /Site safety , the Aluminium Movable scaffolding will be provided with Tags.
GREEN TAG: Which means this aluminium scaffolding was built to meet safety regulations. SAFE TO USE
YELLOW TAG: Which means this scaffolding does not meet the safety level Specifications. All employees working on this scaffold must wear approved safety Accessories.
RED TAG: This tag indicates –Do not use this scaffolding .NOT SAFE
SINGLE WIDTH SCAFFOLDING:-
Single width aluminium scaffolding is used in narrow way projects, crooked area projects, less height work projects like that because they have less width.
DOUBLE WIDTH SCAFFOLDING:-
Double width aluminium scaffolding is used in almost all project because it use to have more width and comfort to the employees, very high height work projects because it provides more safety(with guard rail, self-support, toe board etc..)

How to Erect Aluminium Scaffolding
Erecting scaffold has simplified over the years that now the smallest of jobs can be completed in the minimal of timeframes. The rules have also evolved to allow scaffolds under 4.0m to be erected by a person who may not hold a scaffold licence. This has allowed aluminium mobile tower to become more accessible in today’s trade stores and open markets. However, the erector still needs to know the best way to erect a tower and how to ensure you sustain safety methods throughout the process.
Begin by laying out your base frames and castor wheels, and ensuring the area is clear of any hazards or unnecessary objects. Once this is done, insert the castor wheels in to ends of the base frames and ensure that the wing nuts have been lowered to the lowest point.
Once this is done, attach two horizontal bracing to the bottom most rung of the frames to create a base for the tower. Connect two of your diagonal bracings in opposite directions on the bottom most rung of one side and connect the other side to the third run from the bottom, on the adjacent frame.
Should there be any plan bracing required for your tower, attach that from one leg of the frame to the opposite leg. Some towers do not require plan bracing; therefore this step may not be required
From your existing diagonal bracing, add additional bracing whilst continuing interchanging to increase stability. This will allow the frame to become self-supporting.
Install a temporary platform into your tower safely so that you can safely install any additional end frames, to allow extra height on your tower. Once this is done, install the platform in the correct position.
Once the platform is in place, install your stabilisers and lock them into place. From there, install horizontal bracing as hand railing for the above platform so that you can work safely and securely.

Remove the temporary platform and add a ladder through the ladder hatch to allow you access to the new working platform. Place the temporary platform in an area that you can access so you can install it with your working platform.
Once you have access to the working platform, along with hand railing and safety measures installed, access your temporary platform and install it with your working platform.
Continue previous steps if required, should this be a tall tower.
Install the guard rails on top of the tower, along with horizontal bracing to create hand railing.
Install the toe boards to all working platforms and lock in ladders to ensure no movement happens.
Lastly, inspect the tower to ensure all bracing and platforms are securely attached to the scaffold.
